Following a period of record‑breaking growth, Stantec’s Water division is entering an ambitious new era. For 2026 and beyond, we are expanding our South Region teams to meet the challenges of climate change head‑on.

Joining our teams in High Wycombe, Reading, or Cambridge (all prime locations just a short stroll from the train station), you will immerse yourself in the full project lifecycle.

• Diverse Pipeline:
  Tackle everything from asset planning and strategy to concept, outline, and detailed design.
• Design & Build:
  Collaborate directly with contractor partners on major D&B projects that move from the screen to the real world.
• Project Scope:
  Lead civil engineering design across Water/Wastewater treatment, networks, Storm Water overflows, and sustainable urban drainage.

• Experienced:
  You bring a solid track record of design experience within the UK water industry.
• Qualified:
  You hold a degree in Civil Engineering (or equivalent) and are ideally Chartered or Incorporated (ICE, CIWEM, or similar).
• Collaborative:
  You enjoy working alongside project leads and have a natural knack for mentoring developing engineers.
• Innovative:
  You’re ready to look past traditional methods to find sustainable, efficient solutions for our clients.
