Senior Project Engineer - Electrical

Equans Data Centres are seeking to appoint a Senior Project Engineer – Electrical, to support our growing Data Centre business. We are committed to providing cutting edge solutions for our clients Data Centre facilities and are recruiting a Senior Project Engineer – Electrical to join our innovative team based in High Wycombe. The Senior Project Engineer – Electrical will be responsible for managing the electrical aspects of large projects from inception to completion, within set timescales, to high quality standards and within health and safety guidelines.

• Ensure work is carried out in full conformance with quality, environmental and safety standards
• Coordinate and control the on-site construction process ensuring the site build progresses in line with plan
• Liaise with Statutory Authorities and Local Authorities as directed by the Site Manager in the submission of all Building Regulation cards as required to allow the progress of the project
• Develop and agree electrical submission and approval process with the client and design team
• Be involved in the overall programming and planning of the build
• Attend site meetings, effectively communicate and provide information for Progress Reports
• Chair and minute the subcontractor meetings
• Recording and reporting key metrics to team members and management
• Operational support including review of procedures, best practices and initiatives

• Experience working with a main contractor or large subcontractor
• Proven technical knowledge of Electrical Services
• Knowledge and skills to effectively problem solve
• A keen desire to continually develop knowledge further
• Be self‑motivated, with proven organisational ability and the drive to meet deadlines
• Customer focused with the ability to communicate effectively with clients
• Attention to Health and Safety matters
• Commercially astute
• Experience in the data centres sector is desirable
• Degree or equivalent in an Electrical discipline is desirable
