Key Responsibilities
- Engage with internal teams and external partners to bring properties into charge, resolving any documentation issues.
- Address and rectify any property or scheme issues that may impede efficient charging or optimisation of property value.
- Collaborate with the Development team to review new scheme documentation concerning security charging and valuation implications.
- Compile and efficiently file necessary documentation to expedite the charging of completed development schemes.
- Manage the Group's loan security position, ensuring all loan facilities are adequately secured.
- Identify and maintain a pipeline of property security tranches to meet forecasted needs.
You should have a strong understanding of security charging principles and possess excellent time management and organisational skills. You will be an effective communicator, able to build strong working relationships with both internal and external stakeholders. Ideally you have a background with at least two of the following sectors: housing associations, solicitors, or residential development. You will act as a subject matter expert for loan security matters, keeping up to date with legislative and regulatory changes that may affect property charging or valuation potential.
Treasury knowledge and a legal qualification or experience are key requirements of this role; additional financial and system skills are advantageous, although not essential.
