An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced and qualified Finance Manager to join a growing and fast-paced business. This is a hands‑on role offering broad responsibility across financial reporting, compliance, process improvement and business partnering.
Key Responsibilities- Manage the month‑end and annual financial close, ensuring accurate and timely reporting.
- Prepare monthly management accounts and financial reports for senior leaders.
- Complete balance sheet reconciliations and oversee intercompany allocating.
- Act as the main point of contact for external auditors and coordinate the annual audit process.
- Oversee VAT returns and corporate tax compliance, working alongside external tax advisors. Manage and improve the aged debt collection process.
- Identify opportunities to improve finance processes through automation and system enhancements.
- Partner with operational and commercial teams to provide financial support across the business.
- Assist with day‑to‑day transactional finance activities when required.
You will be a proactive and commercially minded finance professional who enjoys working in a dynamic environment and is keen to drive continuous improvement.
- Fully qualified ACA, ACCA or CIMA. Minimum of three years' post‑qualified experience (PQE).
- Strong financial accounting and reporting experience with a solid understanding of FRS 102.
- Advanced Excel skills with the ability to analyse and simplify complex financial data.
- Excellent communication skills with the confidence to engage stakeholders at all levels.
- Able to prioritise effectively and adapt within a fast‑paced environment.
- Experience with in IT, technology, cyber security, consultancy or a similar professional services environment. Knowledge of Xero and Syft.
