Registered Veterinary Nurse - Diagnostic Imaging

We are seeking an Imaging Veterinary Nurse to join our team at Hamilton Specialist Referrals and play a key role in delivering exceptional patient care and high‑quality imaging studies.

• Capturing high‑quality diagnostic image studies across CT, MRI, radiography and fluoroscopy.
• Assisting with diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, including contrast studies and interventional imaging services.
• Preparing and supporting patients before, during, and after imaging procedures.
• Assisting with the day‑to‑day running of the imaging service.
• Maintaining imaging suites and equipment to the highest professional and safety standards.
• Working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary referral team.
• Preparing, monitoring and recovering patients undergoing sedation and general anaesthesia for procedures.

• Registered Veterinary Nurse (RVN) with a strong interest in diagnostic imaging.
• Experience in image acquisition and referral practice is an advantage; full training will be provided.
• Able to demonstrate a high level of clinical knowledge and practical competence.
• Strong commitment to clinical excellence, professionalism and ethical practice.
• Clear focus on animal welfare and delivering the highest standard of patient care.
• Positive, confident and team‑oriented, with excellent communication skills.

A full‑time position covering 40 hours per week over 5 days (shifts of 7 hours 30 minutes plus a break). 1:4 weekend on‑call rota for emergencies.
