Registered Veterinary Nurse - Diagnostic Imaging
We are seeking an Imaging Veterinary Nurse to join our team at Hamilton Specialist Referrals and play a key role in delivering exceptional patient care and high‑quality imaging studies.
Responsibilities- Capturing high‑quality diagnostic image studies across CT, MRI, radiography and fluoroscopy.
- Assisting with diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, including contrast studies and interventional imaging services.
- Preparing and supporting patients before, during, and after imaging procedures.
- Assisting with the day‑to‑day running of the imaging service.
- Maintaining imaging suites and equipment to the highest professional and safety standards.
- Working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary referral team.
- Preparing, monitoring and recovering patients undergoing sedation and general anaesthesia for procedures.
- Registered Veterinary Nurse (RVN) with a strong interest in diagnostic imaging.
- Experience in image acquisition and referral practice is an advantage; full training will be provided.
- Able to demonstrate a high level of clinical knowledge and practical competence.
- Strong commitment to clinical excellence, professionalism and ethical practice.
- Clear focus on animal welfare and delivering the highest standard of patient care.
- Positive, confident and team‑oriented, with excellent communication skills.
