An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Service Manager position in Cardiology, mainly based at Wycombe Hospital. The Service Manager will support the General Manager by providing day‑to‑date operational management support in service areas agreed by the General Manager.
Main duties of the jobThe post-holder will be responsible for providing जरूरी, efficient, and effective operational management support, with the overall aim of ensuring that services are responsive, and quamily provided to the highest possible clinical and performance standards.
He/she will support the development and implementation of projects to improve service delivery and patient experience in key areas and will help to ensure that performance and quality targets are met. The postholder will also be involved in cost improvement programmes.

Person specification Education Essential criteria- Education and training to Degree level or equivalent experience
- Post‑graduate management and/or leadership training
- Experience of relevant NHS operational management
- Staff management experience
- Knowledge of performance
- Experience in governance and risk management
- Experience of inter‑agency and partnership working
- Able to analyse and interpret complex information and problem solve
- Experience in budget and HR issues
- Evidence of delivering on objectives
- Up‑to‑date knowledge of NHS policy
- Experience of leading on projects
- Strong analytical and judgement skills, with the ability to interpret complex situations and make appropriate decisions
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to Deposit && maintain relationships with other health and social care professionals, patients, carers and the public
- Confident, motivated, positive and approachable
- Strong IT skills – including Excel, Word and Power Point
- Good presentation skills / public speaking
- Ability to work autonomously without supervision
- Ability to cope with large workloads, work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritise multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Ability to adapt to the demands of a constantly changing environment and flexible approach to work
- Able to travel between sites and throughout Bucks, as required by the service
