We have an opportunity for a Physiotherapy to join their team of staff in the Outpatients department. This role will manage a patient caseload of MSK and Outpatients Physio patients therefore, will require previous experience in both specialisms. It will also require sound leadership skills to support the Physio Manager with leading the team and service delivery.
This is a part time role for 30 hours a week. The role holder will be required to cover a flexible shift pattern.
Duties of this role include:- Lead the delivery of high-quality, evidence-based physiotherapy care across all relevant clinical areas.
- Maintain a specialist caseload, providing expert assessment, treatment, and rehabilitation planning.
- Provide line management and clinical supervision to physiotherapists, therapy assistants, and students.
- Oversee the day-to-day running of the physiotherapy service, including staff rotas, clinic planning, and workload allocation.
- Ensure services are delivered in accordance with professional standards (HCPC, CSP), organisational policies, and regulatory requirements (e.g. CQC).
- Act as the main point of contact for the physiotherapy service, liaising with senior leaders, consultants, and external partners.
- Stay up to date with research, clinical advancements, and national guidance relevant to physiotherapy.
- HCPC-registered Physiotherapist.
- Significant post-registration experience, including advanced clinical and leadership responsibilities.
- Proven ability to lead a team and manage physiotherapy services effectively.
- Strong communication, clinical reasoning, and organisational skills.
- Experience in supervising staff and supporting service improvement.
