Office Based with 1 Day per Week Hybrid Working An established manufacturing business in Canterbury is seeking an experienced HR Advisor to join its growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for a people-focused HR professional who enjoys working closely with managers, providing practical HR support, and contributing to a positive workplace culture.

Key Responsibilities Provide day-to-day HR advice and guidance to managers and employees Support employee relations cases, including disciplinary, grievance, absence management and performance matters Assist with recruitment, onboarding and induction processes Ensure HR policies and procedures are implemented consistently across the business Support managers with employee development and workforce planning Maintain accurate employee records and HR documentation Assist with payroll-related administration and employee changes Support HR projects and continuous improvement initiatives Produce and analyse HR reports and management information Keep up to date with employment legislation and HR best practice Skills & Experience Required Previous experience in a HR Advisor or Senior HR Administration role Good working knowledge of UK employment law Experience managing employee relations cases Strong communication and relationship-building skills Ability to manage multiple priorities in a busy environment Proficient in Microsoft Office and HR systems CIPD qualified or studying towards CIPD would be advantageous Previous experience within manufacturing, engineering or a similar environment would be beneficial Benefits Salary of £35,000 - £40,000 depending on experience Hybrid working with 1 day per week from home Company pension scheme Training and development opportunities Employee assistance programme Free onsite parking Supportive and collaborative working environment Recruitment Process A straightforward one-stage face-to-face interview process with the Director and senior leadership team.
