Salary: £32,000 per annum
ReeVR Talent are looking for a practical, reliable and proactive Facilities & Maintenance Technician to join our clients established manufacturing environment.
This is a hands on role responsible for the day to day upkeep of the site, general building maintenance and coordination of machinery servicing and inspections.
You will help ensure the site remains safe, compliant and well maintained, while working closely with contractors and internal teams.
Key Responsibilities for the Facilities and Maintenance Technician- Carry out general building maintenance and minor repairs, including doors, locks, painting, basic plumbing and carpentry.
- Complete regular site checks and identify maintenance issues.
- Maintain the condition and safety of factory and office areas.
- Keep accurate records of machinery servicing, inspections and maintenance.
- Coordinate planned and preventative maintenance activities.
- Arrange and liaise with external contractors and service providers.
- Obtain quotes and schedule maintenance works where required.
- Supervise contractors while they are working on site.
- Ensure maintenance and service documentation is kept up to date.
- Support Health & Safety requirements, including identifying and reporting hazards.
- Assist with risk assessments relating to facilities and equipment.
- Prioritise maintenance requirements to minimise disruption to production.
- Previous experience in facilities, maintenance or site-based engineering.
- Practical maintenance skills, including basic plumbing, carpentry, painting and general repairs.
- Experience working within a manufacturing, industrial or factory environment.
- Strong organisational skills and good attention to detail.
- Experience coordinating contractors or external service providers.
- Good communication skills and a proactive approach.
- The ability to manage and prioritise your workload effectively.
