A leading UK main contractor is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to join their team in High Wycombe, delivering major projects across the data centre and large-scale industrial sectors.

This is a senior leadership role with responsibility for the full lifecycle delivery of technically complex schemes typically valued at £100m+, working with high-performing site and commercial teams to ensure successful outcomes for clients.

You will take ownership of large, fast‑paced projects from pre‑construction through to completion, ensuring safety, programme, quality and commercial performance are achieved.

Key responsibilities include:

• Leading project delivery teams on major data centre and industrial schemes
• Managing programme, logistics and sequencing on complex builds
• Taking full responsibility for health & safety performance on site
• Coordinating design, procurement and construction activities
• Managing client relationships and acting as the main point of contact
• Driving commercial performance in conjunction with commercial teams
• Ensuring quality standards and commissioning milestones are achieved
• Reporting progress, risks and opportunities to senior leadership

To be successful, you will have:

• Proven experience as a Senior Project Manager or Project Manager on £100m+ projects
• Strong background with a main contractor delivering complex buildings
• Demonstrable experience within data centres, industrial, logistics or similarly technical sectors
• Excellent leadership and stakeholder management skills
• Strong understanding of programme management and construction methodology
• Ability to manage multiple work streams in high‑pressure environments

• Degree or equivalent in Construction Management, Engineering or similar
• SMSTS and CSCS (essential)
• First Aid at Work (desirable)

• Basic salary £90,000 – £110,000
