Salary: £45,000 DOE

A successful Plant Hire company based near High Wycombe is seeking an experienced Workshop Manager to join their growing team at new depot.

• Oversee the maintenance, servicing, and repair of all plant, tools, and hire equipment to ensure they are in excellent working condition.
• Monitor workshop productivity- implement improvements to increase efficiency.
• Managing absence, rotas and holidays for the Depot Service staff.
• Manage stock levels of spare parts, tools, and consumables to prevent shortages and ensure quick turnaround times for repairs.
• Checking and processing information from engineers to process repairs to payment via warranty systems and external invoicing.

• A proven background as a Technician, Engineer or Service manager in Plant/ construction or plant machinery.
• Experience in the plant workshop and engineering environment.
• Experience with hire software (Syrinx) preferred.
• Good team management skills and/or experience.
• A proven track record of guiding a team to success.
• A full, valid driving licence.
• Ability to meet deadlines and work well under pressure is essential.
