We're recruiting for a Deputy General Manager to join one of the UK's leading leisure operators at their flagship venue in High Wycombe

The RoleAs Deputy General Manager, you'll play a pivotal role in the day‑to‑day success of the business, supporting the General Manager in delivering exceptional standards across every area of the operation.
Your responsibilities will include:- Delivering exceptional guest experiences by ensuring every customer enjoys a memorable visit.
- Leading and developing your team
, coaching managers and colleagues to achieve their full potential. - Driving operational excellence
, ensuring the venue is safe, clean, compliant and running efficiently at all times. - Growing commercial performance
, identifying opportunities to increase revenue across multiple income streams. - Managing financial performance
, including budgets, stock control, banking and cost management. - Leading from the front
, working a varied shift pattern including evenings and 3 weekends out of 4.
We're looking for an energetic, hands‑on leader who loves motivating people and delivering outstanding customer experiences.
You’ll ideally have:
- A positive, enthusiastic and proactive leadership style.
- Management experience within a fast‑paced, customer‑facing environment such as leisure, hospitality, bars, restaurants, hotels, visitor attractions, health & fitness, entertainment venues or late‑night operations.
- Strong experience managing a high‑volume food and beverage operation.
- At least three years' people management and key-holder experience.
- Experience in roles such as Deputy General Manager, Operations Manager, Club Manager, Restaurant Manager, Store Manager, Assistant Manager, Trading Manager or Centre Manager.
- Strong commercial awareness with a proven ability to grow sales and maximise multiple revenue streams.
- Excellent organisational, communication and problem‑solving skills.
- Basic salary up to £32,000
- Monthly bonus of £200
- Performance‑related annual bonus of up to £6,000
- Realistic On‑Target Earnings of £38,000
