Practice Nurse Vacancy – Innovative GP Practice in High Wycombe

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced and motivated Practice Nurse to join a modern, forward-thinking, and highly innovative GP practice based in High Wycombe. This thriving practice is committed to delivering exceptional patient care through a progressive approach, embracing the latest technologies and continuously evolving clinical services.

The successful candidate will become part of a dynamic and supportive multidisciplinary team, working within a practice that values collaboration, professional development, and high clinical standards.

The Role

The Practice Nurse will play a key role in delivering high-quality nursing care to the practice population. Responsibilities will include:

  • Providing routine nursing care including wound care, immunisations, and cervical screening
  • Managing chronic disease clinics (e.g. diabetes, asthma, COPD)
  • Supporting health promotion and patient education initiatives
  • Assisting with infection prevention and control measures
  • Contributing to continuous service improvement and innovative care delivery
The Ideal Candidate

The practice is seeking a nurse who is:

  • A qualified RGN with current NMC registration
  • Experienced in primary care or community nursing (preferred but not essential)
  • Passionate about patient-centred care
  • Proactive, adaptable, and keen to embrace new ways of working
  • A strong team player with excellent communication skills
