Quality Control and Test Technician - Martin Audio

The successful Quality Control & Test Technician will have manufacturing sector experience with the ability to read mechanical drawings and some knowledge of materials. A background in test and inspection would be ideal.
Responsibilities:
* Mechanical inspection of Martin Audio components and products to meet quality standards (component parts, materials, metalwork, cabinets/woodwork/plastic components) using technical drawings and quality control documents
* Maintaining and delivering Martin Audio's quality procedures, standards and specifications
* Maintaining documentation processes and ensuring quality reports are delivered
* Reporting and recording quality issues through quality system methods (8
Ds, NCRs)
* Working with the Purchasing Team to establish and maintain supplier quality requirements
* Performing mechanical fault-finding to determine and resolve quality issues
Skills and Experience
Required:
* Engineering or quality discipline qualifications or equivalent manufacturing experience
* Ability to read and interpret technical drawings for inspection purposes
* Proficient PC skills with strong Microsoft Office and Excel experience
* Excellent written communication and report writing skills
* Meticulous attention to detail with methodical, analytical approach
* Strong problem-solving and physical capabilities for daily tasks
Working Hours:
37.5 hours per week - 8:00am to 4:00pm Monday-Friday, with a 30 min lunch break. Occasional overtime may be required.
