National Account Manager - Foodservice

£50-55,000 Basic, Lucrative Bonus, Company Car + Benefits

• Very strong in supplying Contract Caterers, Hotels, Restaurants, Gastropubs, Pubs and general hospitality
• Innovative and expanding product range

• Manage a portfolio of food service national accounts
• Accounts cover a variety of channels – major contract caterers, hotel groups, restaurant groups, pub groups, visitor attractions, holiday parks etc.
• Full NAM responsibility incorporating joint business planning, relationship development, head office contract negotiations, promotional strategies, and working with grass‑roots salespeople to ensure effective product pull‑through
• Classic account management of key/national food service accounts and developing new business with major food service accounts
• Outstanding career development opportunities within a diverse and rapidly expanding food business

• Proven Food service Key or National Account Manager
• Strong experience dealing with major food service end‑user accounts at head office/senior level
• Experience with any food category, especially desserts or bakery
• Experience working with grass‑roots salespeople to ensure effective product pull‑through
• Strategic management of existing accounts with an eye for new business opportunities
• Background in Food service Manufacturing or Food service Wholesale acceptable
• Very hands‑on, self‑directed, comfortable working in an SME where autonomy and broad involvement are required
• Based in the South East or M4 corridor area
