High Wycombe/Chesham – Direct Labour Operation (DLO)
12‑month fixed‑term contract covering long‑term sick leave within the business.
Key Responsibilities- Undertake plastering maintenance work unsupervised, ensuring high standards and first‑time fixes
- Carry out reactive repairs, including larger plastering tasks and rendering
- Apply and finish acoustic, insulating, and fireproofing materials
- Prepare surfaces, secure corner beads, and create decorative textures
- Install plasterboard, insulation, and vapour barriers
- Complete additional maintenance tasks as needed, ensuring a seamless service for customers
- Relevant qualifications (e.g., City & Guilds Part 1 & 2, NVQ2) or extensive experience in plastering
- Apprentice‑trained or at least 5 years of experience as a plasterer
- Proficiency in maintenance and repairs, particularly plastering
- Advanced knowledge of construction and health & safety regulations
- A full, valid manual driving licence
- Ability to carry out additional maintenance tasks beyond plastering
- Strong communication skills and a commitment to excellent customer service
- A fully equipped hybrid van, fuel card, and all necessary tools
- An electronic tablet to view job schedules and access company updates
- Work clothing, mobile phone, and tablet
- Annual salary: £39,968 per annum
