Leading Hand - Trailer Mechanic

We are looking for a Leading Hand - Trailer Mechanic to join our expanding team in Perth. You will be assisting to lead a small team to carry out servicing and repairs for our customer’s trailers and equipment.

• Undertake day to day truck and trailer repair and maintenance activities to ensure vehicle safety and roadworthiness.
• Assist with staffing allocation to jobs and upskilling/on the job training.

Servicing and maintaining trucks and trailers as per the customer requests.
• Ensure good liaison with Operations staff on vehicle availability against maintenance schedule, making sure vehicles are maintained and ready to use as required.
• Respond to, investigate and repair vehicle defects as notified by drivers.

• Trade qualification as a Mechanic or equivalent or relevant experience
• Experience in maintaining trailers is essential
• Have a strong adherence to OH&S and in keeping a safe workplace
• HC Licence and Forklift Licence is desirable.
