Transport Manager
Salary: £35,000 - £40,000
Hours:
Monday to Friday
A well-established Plant Hire company who puts its employees as their number one asset is seeking a Transport Planner. As the Transport Manager you will be required to coordinate the company's fleet of vehicles and drivers across 3 depots
About your new Transport Manager role:- Oversee the planning and coordination of all transport operations, ensuring timely delivery and collection of plant and tool hire equipment across all 3 depots.
- Route plan for multiple vehicles and ensure Drivers have correct paperwork to complete their duties.
- Supervise and manage the drivers' workloads in compliance to all aspects of UK law
- Investigate root causes of service failures
- Previous experience as a Transport Planner or Transport Manager
- Experience with Plant Machinery is desirable
- Good problem solving and people management skills
- A valid CPC would be beneficial
