About the roleThis role will require you to perform servicing, repairs and general preventative maintenance on our fleet of trucks and trailers. Your positive attitude, versatility around the workshop, and knack for fault finding will be an essential part of helping the team continue their successful operation.
This is a Monday to Friday role with the occasional Saturday work as required and will see you working with an outstanding team of trades people, apprentices and support staff in a new modern workshop facility based in High Wycombe.
Responsibilities- Perform servicing repairs and preventative maintenance on heavy diesel trucks and trailers
- Diagnose issues and test parts using advanced diagnostic technology
- Maintain accurate records of all repairs and maintenance tasks
- Inspect and review work orders to ensure every job meets the highest standards
- Qualified as a Diesel Mechanic with hands‑on experience
- High risk ticket, or willing to obtain
- Good expertise in all aspects of maintaining road transport equipment
- Experience with Scania, Kenworth, and tanker maintenance desirable
- A commitment to safety, precision, and keeping operations smooth
- Great time management and organizational skills
- Valid driver’s licence
