Trading Assistant - Shift

Rate: £13.23 per hour

Night shift: 21:00 - 07:00

• The minimum application age for this role is 18, due to the working hours and type of goods (alcohol, etc) that you may be required to handle.
• You must have Right to Work eligibility in the UK.

• Collect stock from the warehouse using heavy roll cages (up to 15kg) to replenish items across the store, keeping shelves clean, tidy, and full of well‑presented products.
• Assist customers during store opening, supporting any questions and proactively offering help.
• Check dates on fresh produce and grocery products.
• Support deliveries and assist across the store as needed.
• Build strong knowledge of products, services, and promotions to provide recommendations.

• Enjoy working overnight in a fast‑paced, physical and high‑energy environment, often on your own but also able to thrive as part of a team.
• Friendly and welcoming with a genuine enthusiasm for helping customers.
• Takes responsibility for owning tasks and uses initiative to solve problems.
• Prepared to work flexibly and productively across the store to a high standard; fully trained in a variety of skills and open to learning, developing, and trying new things.
• Comfortable with learning to use new digital tools and technology to do the job brilliantly.
• Attention to detail, keeping the store clean and clutter‑free, always looking to create the best shopping experience for customers.
