Memory Care Support Partner – Part Time

Highland Heights, Ohio

$19–$21 per hour

Friday / Saturday, 7 a.m. – 3 p.m.

• Advocate of Empathy:
  Be responsible for understanding the importance of empathy and creating human connection with residents during their most vulnerable moments.
• Patient Observer:
  Discover residents’ interests, abilities, and what makes each resident who they are; collaborate to create appropriate engagement plans and implement strategies with patience to ensure success.
• Master of the Mise en Scène:
  Set the stage for a successful day by preparing dining rooms, libraries, and resident rooms for routines.
• Life Partner:
  Partner with residents to achieve all facets of daily life from the moment they wake to the moment they go to sleep.
• Document resident care and changes in condition accurately.
• Assist with orientation of team members assigned to memory care neighborhoods.

• Minimum 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to read, write, understand, and communicate in English with residents.
• Positive and energetic attitude; love for residents.
• Computer skills for printing documents and entering resident information.
• Physical capability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, stoop all day.
• Ability to lift and/or move items up to 50 pounds frequently.
• Ability to assist residents with sitting, standing, walking, and help after a fall.
• Criminal background clearance.
