- Position:
Clinical Coordinator - Location:
Highland Park Hospital - Full Time: 40 hours per week
- Hours:
Evenings w/ rotating weekends
- License:
Current professional Nursing Licensure in the state of IL required. - Education:
Bachelor's degree in Nursing required;
Master's degree preferred - Certification: BLS/CPR certification required
- Experience:
Minimum of 3 years' experience in appropriate clinical setting required;
Prior management experience preferred
- Positively contributing to safety outcomes and promoting high quality patient experience
- Manage day to day clinical operations and unit workflow/throughput
- Would assume direct patient care if necessary
- Be accountable for the outcomes of care for patients in a specific clinical care area(s)
- Guide and direct a team of care-givers in providing high quality, individualized care to the patient and family, while preparing them for discharge
- Guides staff development by teaching, mentoring and counseling with new and experienced staff, for both clinical and customer loyalty skills
- Takes lead on clinical performance management
