Part Time PT: Pro Bono Rehab Practice NOT a volunteer

Omnis Rehabilitation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization based in Highland Park, IL that provides pro bono (free) physical, occupational, and speech therapy to people of all ages that are uninsured and underinsured. The mission of Omnis is that everyone deserves access to expert, culturally responsive rehabilitation care and so we strive to remove as many barriers to accessing care as possible for those that are not able to be served in the traditional healthcare system.

This is an amazing opportunity to work with patients that otherwise have no access to therapy. Perfect role for someone that already works part time or is looking to add a few hours in the week. Spanish skills preferred, but not required. This is a PAID role!

4-8/week (potentially more, if desired)

Flexible days and times, based on your preference. Weekday and weekend options

$50/hour

Mixture of orthopedic and neurologic injuries. All Omnis patients are uninsured or underinsured and many are primary Spanish speakers.

Combination of in person sessions in Highland Park, IL and virtual sessions. Home sessions are also available throughout Lake County, if interested.

• Simple EMR and documentation
• No billing or dealing with insurance
• Independent contractor format
• Additional opportunities to present community educations sessions and host "pop up" clinics in coordination with community medical centers and organizations

• Active IL PT license in good standing
• Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or comparable degree from an accredited university program
• CPR certification
• Mission driven to serve vulnerable communities and provide culturally responsive and sensitive care
