A Brief Overview:
The Staff Nurse will deliver safe and compassionate nursing care for all patient populations by planning, implementing, and evaluating the patient plan of care. The Staff Nurse will collaborate with nurses, physicians, and other members of the clinical team to ensure optimal patient outcomes and continuity of care.
What you will do:
Utilize the nursing process in planning, implementing and evaluating the patient plan of care.
Provide nursing care to all patient populations in the department
Maintain regulatory compliance in individual practice
Assume responsibility, accountability and authority for outcomes of nursing care
Guide and direct assigned unlicensed nursing personnel in delivering patient care
Positively contribute to safety outcomes and promote high-quality patient experience
What you will need:
License: Current professional Nursing Licensure in the State of IL required
Education: BSN degree preferred
Certification:BLS/CPR certification through AHA/ARC required
Experience:1-year current hospital nursing experience required, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, TNS, TNCC, ECRN
