Position Highlights- Position:
Clinical Coordinator - Location:
Highland Park Hospital - Full Time: 40 hours per week
- Hours:
Evenings with rotating weekends
- License:
Current professional Nursing Licensure in the state of IL required. - Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Nursing required;
Master’s degree preferred. - Certification: BLS/CPR certification required.
- Experience:
Minimum of 3 years’ experience in an appropriate clinical setting required;
Prior management experience preferred.
- Positively contribute to safety outcomes and promote a high quality patient experience.
- Manage day to day clinical operations and unit workflow/throughput.
- Assume direct patient care if necessary.
- Be accountable for the outcomes of care for patients in a specific clinical care area(s).
- Guide and direct a team of caregivers in providing high quality, individualized care to the patient and family, while preparing them for discharge.
- Guide staff development by teaching, mentoring, and counseling both new and experienced staff, for both clinical and customer loyalty skills.
- Takes the lead on clinical performance management.
