Role: Registered Nurse in Labor and Delivery and Post-Partum, providing compassionate and safe patient care independently.
Responsibilities
- Utilize the nursing process to plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans.
- Guide and direct unlicensed assistive personnel in delivering interdisciplinary care.
- Communicate and collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure optimal outcomes and continuity of care.
- Contribute to safety outcomes and enhance patient experience.
- Graduate of an NLN-accredited nursing program; BSN preferred.
- Current Illinois RN license; BLS/CPR certification required.
- Minimum one year of acute care or labor and delivery/post-partum experience (preferred).
- Labor and delivery/post-partum experience is a plus.
- Full-time, 36 hours/week, with evening hours and weekend rotation.
- On-call responsibilities; float to Post-Partum Evanston Hospital.
- Competitive hourly pay range based on experience, plus sign-on bonus for eligible candidates.
