American Traveler is hiring a Labor & Delivery RN for a night shift contract requiring 2 years of LDR, recovery, and postpartum experience.
Requirements- Active IL RN license
- Current BLS and NRP certifications
- Minimum 2 years of experience in LDR, recovery, and postpartum care
- Nursery and baby catcher experience helpful but not required
- New graduates will not be considered
- EPIC experience required and must be reflected in employment history
- Two current supervisor/manager/charge references from the applicable unit within the last year
- Labor/Delivery unit in a hospital setting
- 12-hour night shifts
- Every other weekend required
- Holiday coverage as needed
- No floating required
- No on-call requirements
- Provide direct patient care for laboring, recovery, and postpartum patients
- Local candidates accepted at the same rate
- Returning permanent or per diem staff must be separated from the facility for 12 months before being eligible as a traveler
- RTO limited to a maximum of 3 days for this 6-week contract
- Candidates in CVICU, Telemetry, or Emergency Room specialties at this facility must complete an EKG test with a score of 80% or higher prior to consideration, and pass a pass/fail on-site EKG test on Day 1 of orientation
