Job Overview

As a Field Merchandiser, you will showcase your organization and time management skills, build retailer relationships, and be the face of Hallmark. You collaborate with local store teams to optimize product placement, maintain inventory levels, and support fellow team members with seasonal resets and installations when needed. You may also work with other products from other companies in the stores you service.

SALARY

AND SCHEDULE DETAILS
  • Your starting pay will be $15.00 to $17.00 depending on your skills and experience.
  • Eligible Employees receive annual pay increases.
  • This is a Part‑Time position with a variable schedule during the work week.
  • Average weekly hours for this position are between 8-10 hours per week.
  • Availability during the week before and after major holidays, which may include weekends, is required.
Your Role And Responsibilities Will Include
  • Day‑to‑day engagement:
    Utilize a mobile device provided by Hallmark to restock, organize, and monitor inventory of Hallmark products within and outside the Hallmark department.
  • Holiday support:
    Expect additional days and extended hours leading up to and following holidays such as Valentine’s Day, Easter, Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, Halloween, Thanksgiving, and Christmas. You may be required to work on the holiday itself, including weekends.
  • Department resets:
    Assist in installing and relocating Hallmark fixtures, card departments, and products. You will be notified two weeks in advance of remodel assignments, which may include evenings or weekends.
  • Team collaboration:
    Support other team members as needed in their territories.
Physical Requirements

This role is physically demanding and requires the ability to push, pull, lift, and carry cartons, merchandise, and display fixtures up to 30 pounds regularly and up to 50 pounds occasionally. You must also kneel, squat, walk, stand, climb stairs, and use step ladders throughout the workday.

Basic Qualifications
  • At least 18 years of age.
  • Proficient in reading, writing, and understanding English.
  • Able to lift and carry products up to 30 pounds regularly and up to 50 pounds occasionally.
  • Proficient in operating a digital handheld device to read documents and interpret information.
  • Access to Wi‑Fi and the internet.
  • Reliable transportation to travel to and between assigned stores on schedule.
