Job Summary
The position is responsible for driving continuous improvement initiatives in manufacturing operations, with a strong focus on cost reduction, safety, equipment reliability, and process optimization. This role will lead root cause analysis, corrective actions, and preventive measures to ensure operational efficiency and compliance with manufacturing standards.
Job Description- Generate and implement business improvement ideas related to cost reduction, labor efficiency, material flow, and workplace safety.
- Identify equipment and tooling problems, review issues with the team, and drive timely repairs and countermeasures.
- Conduct root cause analysis for machine downtime and quality problems, documenting findings and corrective actions.
- Lead improvement projects by developing action plans and coordinating with cross-functional teams.
- Review and confirm process, machine, and tooling specifications to ensure compliance with manufacturing standards.
- Manage maintenance KPIs within the SAP system, including equipment preventive maintenance (PM) implementation, new PM development, and EMR ticket closure tracking.
- Support spare parts inventory and purchasing, ensuring availability of critical components and proper storage.
- Oversee torque gun management, including maintaining master lists, scheduling calibration/repair with vendors, and monitoring equipment status.
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field preferred.
- Proven experience in equipment maintenance, process engineering, or manufacturing operations.
- Strong knowledge of preventive maintenance systems (SAP or similar CMMS preferred).
- Hands‑on experience in root cause analysis and implementation of corrective and preventive measures.
- Familiarity with spare parts management and vendor coordination.
- Proficiency in reviewing and interpreting equipment/machine specifications.
- Strong leadership, problem‑solving, and communication skills to drive team‑based improvements.
