Machine Operator- Print & Bindery

Overview

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Machine Operator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in operating various machinery, with a focus on print advertising and graphic design processes. This role is essential in ensuring that our production runs smoothly and efficiently, while maintaining the highest quality standards.

• Operate and monitor printing presses, ensuring quality control throughout the production process.
• Conduct prepress tasks, including layout design and color management to prepare materials for printing.
• Perform routine maintenance on machinery to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.
• Collaborate with graphic designers to understand project specifications and deliver high-quality printed materials.
• Utilize CNC machinery for precision cutting and shaping of materials as required.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
• Assist in training new operators on equipment operation and safety procedures.

• Print and Bindery Operator experience
• Independent problem solving skill
• Strong communication skills
• Attention to detail and able to collect and report variable data during production operation
• Strong multi-tasking and organizational skills
• Working knowledge of Project Ticket procedural requirements, documentation, and closure steps
• Applicable machine computer skills
• Ability to understand and meet customer (internal and external) expectations
• Ability to set up and maintain accurate placement of inkjet text at designated print position
• Ability to pass OJT qualification review check after each machine operation procedural training steps are complete. Strong work ethic, dependable job performance, and reliable attendance
