Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Machine Operator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in operating various machinery, with a focus on print advertising and graphic design processes. This role is essential in ensuring that our production runs smoothly and efficiently, while maintaining the highest quality standards.
Responsibilities- Operate and monitor printing presses, ensuring quality control throughout the production process.
- Conduct prepress tasks, including layout design and color management to prepare materials for printing.
- Perform routine maintenance on machinery to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.
- Collaborate with graphic designers to understand project specifications and deliver high-quality printed materials.
- Utilize CNC machinery for precision cutting and shaping of materials as required.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
- Assist in training new operators on equipment operation and safety procedures.
- Print and Bindery Operator experience
- Independent problem solving skill
- Strong communication skills
- Attention to detail and able to collect and report variable data during production operation
- Strong multi-tasking and organizational skills
- Working knowledge of Project Ticket procedural requirements, documentation, and closure steps
- Applicable machine computer skills
- Ability to understand and meet customer (internal and external) expectations
- Ability to set up and maintain accurate placement of inkjet text at designated print position
- Ability to pass OJT qualification review check after each machine operation procedural training steps are complete. Strong work ethic, dependable job performance, and reliable attendance
