Activity Counselors will create age‑appropriate lesson plans for activities in one or more of the following lessons: STEM, STEAM, Science, and/or Nature. Activity Leaders are required to submit lesson plans and supply lists by May 29, 2026. When not instructing, leaders will assist with other camp activities or programs scheduled, including lunch. All camp staff work together to create a fun, safe environment for all campers.
Summer Camp runs from Monday – Friday, July 6, 2026 – August 14, 2026; 8:15 a.m. – 3:15 p.m.
Work Responsibilities- Create, organize, submit, and implement age‑appropriate lesson plans
- Engage campers in daily planned activities
- Set‑up and clean‑up activities
- Maintain inventory of program supplies, make orders as needed
- Understand camper behaviors and respond appropriately
- Be vigilant and follow all safety guidelines provided by the camp
- Participate in all staff trainings and meetings
- Age 18+
- Experience in and passion for your specialized activity
- Experience in summer camp, recreation, or childcare environment
- Excellent time management skills
- Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills
- Ability to work as a member of a team
