Overview
On-Demand:
Guest Advocate (Cashier), General Merchandise, Fulfillment, Food and Beverage, Style (T0731) rting hourly rate: $15.50 USD per hour.
- Demonstrate a service culture that prioritizes the guest service experience by delivering the service standard.
- Create a welcoming experience by greeting guests and assisting with daily tasks.
- Engage with guests to solve needs, demonstrate product knowledge, and resolve concerns while maintaining a high level of guest satisfaction.
- Scan and bag items efficiently, accurately, and in compliance with safety standards and company best practices.
- Minimize guest wait time while maintaining service quality and accuracy.
- Promote and explain Target Loyalty programs, fulfillment services, and how to enroll or activate them.
- Assist guests with order pickup, drive-up, registry, and other services; support cash handling and carry out as needed in accordance with policies.
- Maintain a clean, organized work area and stock supplies during store hours.
- Adhere to safety policies, report hazards, and comply with all safety training and procedures.
- Support guest services such as order pick up (OPU), Drive-up (DU) orders, and DU returns in compliance with applicable laws.
- Other duties as needed based on business needs.
- You enjoy interacting with guests and helping others, thriving in a fast-paced, active environment.
- Flexible to work varying hours, including nights, weekends, holidays, and peak shopping times.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills; ability to multi-task and remain composed under pressure.
- Willingness to educate guests about products and services and to operate handheld scanners and related technology.
- Ability to lift up to 44 pounds and handle merchandise safely; be mobile for scheduled shift length.
This role is On-Demand TM: you will not be on the posted weekly schedule but can pick up shifts posted by leaders or teammates via the myTime app. Attendance and engagement are required, including picking up shifts at least once every 4 weeks and responding to contact attempts. If you do not work a shift within 5 months, employment may be terminated.
You will attend a Welcome orientation and short-term training, after which you can use the myTime app to select shifts.
