Weekend Caregiver

Job Overview

Weekend Caregiver position at MBK Senior Living. Pay: $14.50–$16.50 per hour.

Schedule:

Saturday and Sunday 6:30 AM–2:30 PM or 2:30 PM–10:30 PM.

• Assist residents in daily living activities (bathing, grooming, hygiene, meals, toileting, transfers).
• Respond to resident needs promptly and with kindness, maintaining dignity and confidentiality (50%).
• Read and follow care plans (10%).
• Provide mealtime assistance and clean up (3%).
• Transport residents to meals and activities, assist with safety/lifting (3%).
• Perform safety checks, encourage participation in activities (1% each).
• Assist in community activities, laundry, clean up (1%).
• Manage oxygen tanks and concentrators per MD orders (1%).Chart and document resident information, emergency alerts (4% and 3%).
• Support resident safety during drills (1%).

• Maintain a positive, professional image in accordance with MBK core values.
• Encourage teamwork through open communication.
• Demonstrate effective time management skills.
• Adhere to all policies regarding meal breaks and rest periods.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Directors.

• Age 18 or over, with proper work authorization.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Current first‑aid certification.
• Background check clearance per government regulations.
• Positive TB test within last 6 months.
• Prior caregiving experience preferred; on‑the‑job training available.
• Ability to read and speak English; follow oral and written directions.
• Ability to interact effectively with people of diverse ages and backgrounds.
• Meet all state‑specific regulatory requirements.

• Kneeling, squatting, reaching, bending.
• Lift 40 + lb and push 150 lb unassisted.
