Overview

LHH is seeking a skilled Labor & Employment Paralegal to join a dynamic and fast-paced sales and marketing agency. This role supports legal operations and reports directly to the CEO. A Paralegal Certificate is preferred, but candidates with significant experience in labor law will also be considered.

Job Details
  • Job Title: Labor & Employment Paralegal
  • Location: Highland, UT (1 remote day/week may be offered)
  • Job Type: Temp-to-Perm preferred;
    Open to Direct Hire
  • Compensation: $70,000–$90,000/year
Key Qualifications
  • 3+ years of labor/employment law paralegal experience
  • Strong communication skills and experience working with attorneys
  • Paralegal certificate preferred, but not required, with sufficient experience
  • Comfortable, warm, and personable demeanor—must thrive in a fun, people-first culture
  • Familiarity with labor laws (multi-state knowledge is a plus, but not required)
Responsibilities Include
  • Research and analyze labor issues such as workplace safety, discrimination, and compensation
  • Draft legal documents including contracts, briefs, and correspondence
  • Manage case files related to labor disputes, workers’ comp, and safety violations
  • Conduct investigations, gather facts, and interview clients or witnesses
  • Support litigation activities: prepare for hearings, mediations, arbitrations
  • Coordinate client communication, intake, and scheduling of legal proceedings
  • Oversee lifecycle management of insurance policies (e.g., General Liability, Workers' Comp, Auto)
  • Paid parking provided
  • Small, collaborative onsite office (10–15 team members regularly present)
