Job Description
IGNITE is looking for a driven person to assist our development of bus platform thermal subsystems leveraged across our common product lines. This role is a great bridge for experienced engineering professionals to branch over to the program management area of execution, while maintaining close alignment to the technical scope.
The Thermal Product Development Lead (PDL) will work with the Product Center, Engineering and using programs to lead the development of products, with performance, unit cost and schedule parameters evaluated for market competitiveness. The PDL will own the cost accounts and scope from requirements definition and product development through first unit development. Products under this lead include passive and active control components like heat pipes, heaters, thermocouples, blanketing and radiator panels across our LM50, LM400, and LM2100 platforms.
DesiredSkills
- Engineering lifecycle experience in development of space or missile hardware to include SRR/PDR/CDR through first unit build
- Project Management experience with cost, schedule, technical responsibility
- Control Account Manager or subcontract management experience
- Experience with basis of estimate, proposal, and baselining of new efforts for execution
- Demonstrated ability to articulate complex technical and programmatic issues to peers, senior management and customers
- Current US TOP SECRET or TS/SCI clearance
