Lockheed Martin Space, Specialty Engineering, is seeking an Electrical Component Engineer Lead, Staff (Level IV) in the Contamination, Parts, Materials and Processes (CPMP) Core group. You will lead a team supporting several Commercial Civil Programs – Geo Xo, Dimple and LMX – on a range of projects that will challenge you to learn and grow. Your education, experience and expertise will drive the selection of preferred Electrical Parts and components and support innovative technology to survive in the most hostile of environments.
Responsibilities- Define and lead Electrical/Electronic/Electromechanical (EEE) Parts Engineering technical assignments related to hardware design, manufacture and test.
- Lead in the selection, qualification, test, and failure analysis of EEE Parts.
- Prepare technical and progress reports on assigned tasks, specifications, evaluate suppliers and analyze test reports.
- Coordinate with other disciplines such as Design Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality Engineering, and Procurement/Supply Chain organization.
- Participate in EEE Parts Engineering technical assignments related to hardware manufacturing and testing, including technical evaluation and support of manufacturing issues/concerns.
- Experience managing PMP (Parts, Materials, and Processes) on a program.
- Experience managing Electrical/Electronic/Electromechanical (EEE) Parts performance requirements and specifications.
- Experience with mechanical parts performance requirements and specifications.
- Experience guiding the successful completion of significant projects and/or multi‑discipline team efforts by applying technical knowledge and leadership skills.
- Documentation Engineering experience: plans, directs and coordinates preparation of documentation to balance technical, cost and schedule needs.
- Familiarity with business tools and systems for configuration management and quality control (e.g., SAP, EPDM, PMPDB, LIMS).
- Experience working collaboratively with customers and teammates with a customer focus.

Salary and BenefitsPay Rate:
The annual base salary range for this position varies by state – for example, in Colorado it is $104,500 – $184,115. The salary range reflects job responsibility, experience, education, and market factors.
