We are seeking a Financial Analyst to join our team in program finance for the Orion Program. The Orion Multi-Purpose Crew Vehicle is NASA's first spacecraft designed for long-duration, human-rated deep space exploration. Orion will transport humans to interplanetary destinations beyond low Earth orbit, such as asteroids, the moon and eventually Mars, and return them safely back to Earth. This individual will support the Supply Chain Program Finance team by performing financial analysis, performance management budgeting and forecasting, variance analysis, trend identification, risk and opportunity assessment, and integration and validation of supplier financial data in support of program deliverables.
This individual will also develop and provide financial analysis with actionable recommendations to key stakeholders in order to inform sound financial and operating decisions in accordance with internal compliance requirements.
- Earned Value Management (EVM) experience.
- Proactive self-starter
- Strong organizational skills
- Experience with SAP, Cobra, WEBI, Mission Control
- Significant Excel experience
- Experience working in a team environment
- Previous experience with detailed analysis of data
- Ability to balance competing priorities in a high-pressure environment
- Program Finance experience to include monthly and annual program financial status preparation and analysis.
- 2+ years of related finance experience
