Phlebotomist II - Highlands Ranch, CO

Schedule: Monday to Friday 7:15 AM – 1:15 PM (1‑hour lunch);
Saturdays 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM

Pay: $22.02 – $25.34 / hour (plus potential annual performance bonus)

Responsibilities
  • Collect specimens according to established procedures (drug screens, biometric screening, insurance exams, etc.).
  • Administer oral solutions per training.
  • Research test/client information and confirm all written and electronic orders using lab technology systems, client contact, and approved tools.
  • Navigate computers and accurately enter data.
  • Obtain identification and enter billing information; collect payments when required, following corporate policies.
  • Process specimens (labeling, centrifuging, aliquoting, freezing, preparing for transport).
  • Perform all non‑patient facing duties (inventory, stocking, sanitizing, filing, answering phones, email).
  • Read, understand, and comply with departmental policies, protocols, and procedures.
  • Assist with compilation and submission of statistics and data.
  • Maintain phlebotomy logs in a timely manner (maintenance logs, temperature logs).
  • Complete online and in‑person training courses promptly.
Qualifications
  • Three years of phlebotomy experience, including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections.
  • Keyboard/data entry experience.
  • Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, on‑call, and overtime as needed.
  • Reliable transportation, valid driver's license, clean driving record (if applicable).
Required Education
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Medical training: medical assistant or paramedic training preferred.
  • Phlebotomy certification preferred (required in CA, NV, WA).

Position requires effective communication in English.
