Come join the Outback family as a Cook, where you will be preparing, portioning, and cooking food items to Outback’s quality standards. You will be responsible for safe food handling, cleanliness, safety, and sanitation during your shift. You will also prepare food with proper safety equipment, tools, and recipes. As a Cook, you will help provide each customer with an AUS-SOME dining experience through your passion and commitment.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare food items efficiently and accurately, taking pride in each dish.
• Work in a well-designed kitchen with large work areas. Positions available in Salad, Fry, Dessert, Sauté, Grill, Make Up, and Kitchen Prep.
• Maintain equipment and keep your surroundings clean.
• Work as part of a team to meet standards in food preparation and delivery.
• Ensure safe food handling, cleanliness, safety, and sanitation during shifts.
• Use proper safety equipment, tools, and recipes, following management instructions.
• Practice food safety and sanitation, restock the kitchen and cook line as needed.

Requirements:

• Ability to lift/move up to 30 lbs; work in hot and cold environments.
• Ability to walk, stand, or bend for extended periods.
• Vision abilities including distance, close, color, depth, and peripheral vision; ability to adjust focus.
