Facilities Maintenance Technician II – Highlands Ranch, CO
We are hiring a Facilities Maintenance Technician II to work at our client’s location in Highlands Ranch, CO 80129. This role supports the work environment for all employees through effective, hands‑on implementation of building maintenance programs. The technician interacts with client management, employees, and outside vendors.

Responsibilities- Maintain and repair the client’s mechanical, electrical, HVAC, and plumbing systems, ensuring proper operations and addressing any unusual conditions.
- Conduct periodic general preventive maintenance on mechanical, electrical, HVAC, and plumbing systems, including normal lubrication, adjustment, cleaning, replacement of consumable parts, and periodic testing of equipment.
- Respond to tenant issues in safety, plumbing, mechanical, electrical, and environmental areas through personal contact and work‑order systems.
- Prepare and maintain maintenance logs and records, using preventive maintenance and work‑order software systems.
- Conduct regular inspections of tenant spaces and execute appropriate repairs or troubleshoot as directed.
- Perform all assigned work to ensure tenant safety and continuous operation of the site.
- Familiarize with and conform to all written operating procedures associated with the site.
- Knowledge of Building Automation Systems and operation.
- Interface and work with others throughout the company.
- Perform basic tasks such as painting, cleaning, minor furniture repairs, minor electrical and mechanical or plumbing repairs, moving equipment or furniture, and setups for company events.
- Respond to emergency calls after normal working hours.
- Available for occasional overtime after normal working hours.
- High school diploma or equivalent; vocational school or industry certification.
- Minimum 5 years of previous commercial building operations engineering experience.
- Self‑organization, data assessment, and decision‑making abilities.
- Physical ability to lift 60 lb or more, climb ladders, and work in prone or kneeling positions.
- General computer knowledge – MS Windows, MS Word, and MS Excel.
- Effective communication and collaboration with vendors, co‑workers, and managers.
- English speaking/writing proficiency.
- Pass all pre‑employment screening.
- HVAC or electrical certifications desired but not required.
