Engineering & Facility Manager (Dual-Site Leadership)  Hillegom (NL) & Mönchengladbach (DE)

A leadership role for engineers who don't just direct — they also roll up their sleeves and lead from the front

We're looking for an experienced  Engineering & Facility Manager  who combines strategic leadership with a  hands-on mindset  — someone who is equally comfortable shaping long-term engineering strategy as they are stepping onto the shop floor to solve complex technical challenges when it matters.

This is not a typical role — it's a  unique dual challenge :

Hillegom  – a highly automated site focused on capability building and developing operators into true machine owners
Mönchengladbach  – a legacy site requiring transformation, modernisation, and infrastructure upgrades

You'll play a critical role in ensuring both sites operate  safely, reliably and in full GMP/FDA compliance , while shaping the future technical landscape.

What you'll be responsible for:

Driving  equipment reliability and maintenance excellence  across both sites
Leading  technical projects and CAPEX investments  end-to-end
Ensuring full  GMP, FDA, ISO and HSE compliance
Managing  utilities and facility infrastructure  (HVAC, power, water, etc.)
Acting as the  bridge between Operations, Quality, Engineering and IT

What we're looking for:

Significant experience  in engineering, maintenance or facilities within manufacturing
Experience in  regulated environments (GMP / FDA / ISO)
Proven success delivering  technical projects & CAPEX programmes
Strong leadership and stakeholder management capability
A leader who  sets the standard through action  — willing to step in, troubleshoot and guide teams directly when needed
