Data Center Technical Operations Engineer

We are seeking a Data Center Technical Operations Engineer to join our team and ensure the reliability and efficiency of critical infrastructure a Data
Center. This role is essential for maintaining high availability, managing risk, and supporting operational excellence

* What You'll Do
* * Oversee on-site management of shift technicians, subcontractors, and vendors, ensuring compliance with established procedures.

* Conduct performance benchmarking, analysis, and reporting on facility operations and maintenance.

* Collaborate with IT managers and business leaders to coordinate projects, manage capacity, and optimize safety and reliability.

* Operate and manage routine and emergency services on critical systems, including:

* Switchgear, generators, UPS systems, power distribution equipment

* Chillers, cooling towers, computer room air handlers, building monitoring systems

* Assist with design/build-out of new facilities and efficiency improvement projects.

* Manage assets and inventory.

* Support recruiting efforts and ensure customer demands are met.

* Basic Qualifications
* * Bachelor's Degree or Technical Military/Trade School Degree with relevant experience.

* 0-2 years of relevant work experience and management experience.

* Strong verbal and written communication skills.

* Leadership, organizational skills, and attention to detail.

* Ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment.

* Preferred Qualifications
* * 0-2 years of Data Center Engineering or Management experience.

* Bachelor's Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.

* Knowledge of network design, layout, and low-voltage copper/fiber cabling.

* Strong troubleshooting and repair skills in electrical and mechanical systems.

* Pay and Benefits
* The pay range for this position is $28.26 - $28.26/hr.
