Warehouse Specialist

Everything But The House (EBTH) is a revolutionary marketplace headquartered in Cincinnati, OH, simplifying the buying, selling, and consigning of secondhand goods. As a Warehouse Specialist at our Columbus facility, you will help maintain efficient warehouse operations, support production areas, and contribute to inventory management and flow.

Responsibilities:

• Execution of daily activities including receiving, handling, packing, shipping, and inventory management.
• Verify inbound shipments and ensure accurate inventory scanning upon receipt of goods.
• Record and report any damage found on inbound and outbound shipments.
• Provide front‑facing customer service assistance, greeting in a professional and friendly manner.
• Conduct pull requests, process returns to the seller, and correct errors or missing information on items.
• Assist with customer drop‑off and pick‑up days at the processing center.
• Align with management to resolve issues related to the department and ensure efficient service.
• Implement new processes and test technological advancements to improve internal operations.
• Collaborate with other departments, EBTH management, and team members to maximize efficiency and timeliness in achieving company‑defined Key Performance Indicators.
• Additional tasks and responsibilities as needed.

Qualifications:

• A self‑starter who thrives in a fast‑paced environment.
• High school diploma required.
• Appreciation for dedicated customer service in a fast‑paced work environment.
• Familiarity and comfort working with Google Suite.
• A team player mentality with an ability to work independently.
• Ability to maintain a set production schedule to align with business needs, and willingness to work flexible hours including nights and weekends if required.
• Effective communication via email, phone, and in person with other employees and customers.
• Knowledge of antiques, artwork, collectibles and unique items, with the ability to gauge value, is a plus.
• Ability to move/lift up to 100 lbs. using proper equipment and techniques.
• Availability to work Monday through Friday (5‑day workweek).
