As a Shortage Control Lead, you will mitigate theft & fraud in high‑shortage areas of the store while ensuring a safe, secure environment. You will partner with store and field leadership, train associates, report theft incidents, and promote shortage education.

• Provide an effective deterrent to dishonest behaviors by demonstrating a command presence.
• Maintain a safe & secure store through attention to detail, multitasking, communication, and partnership with leadership.
• Engage customers & associates in high‑risk areas to promote control and excellent service.
• Display thorough knowledge of shortage areas and support reduction programs.
• Gather & document theft indicators, share with leaders, and support law‑enforcement efforts.
• Support store manager with internal controls, audits, & Asset Protection programs.
• Train and onboard associates in shortage reduction processes.
• Assist with semi‑annual inventory planning & action‑plan development.
• Model safety‑first behaviors and manage stressful situations.
