The Associate is responsible for completing in‑store food and non‑food demonstrations. They acquire and maintain knowledge of the products represented, prepare, serve, and break down product, equipment, and supplies, intercept consumers and demonstrate products in a professional manner, and maintain an overall professional appearance consistent with job requirements.

Pay Rate: $14.00 - $15.00 /hour

• Possesses the aptitude and ability to gain adequate knowledge of the products represented.
• Has desire and ability to proactively intercept, engage, interact, and sell product to the consumer in a positive manner.
• Effectively communicates the features and benefits of the product.
• Prepares and serves food samples using small appliances such as microwaves, fryers, skillets, coffee makers, and knives.
• Maintains a clean, sterile, and safe work station using cleaning chemicals.
• Maintains a professional appearance consistent with the requirements of the job.
• Properly sets up and prepares the Event Table for execution.
• Achieves 100% execution on assigned work.
• Assists with preparation for client visits and completes audit corrections.
• Builds and maintains rapport with store personnel to effectively meet company and client objectives.
• Completes expense reports as per Company Policy.
• Accurately prepares and submits all on‑line requirements on the same day as Event execution.
• Accesses the internet, navigates through company’s electronic systems, uses Microsoft Outlook, and views assigned documents, including Microsoft Word and Adobe PDF forms.

This role is not expected to exceed more than 25 hours per week, although the company maintains discretion to change the role based on business or client needs.

Additional duties may be assigned by management as required to perform the job successfully.

Education/Experience: High school diploma or GED; or one to three months’ related experience and/or training preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Computer Skills: Proficient at using and navigating personal computers or mobile devices with applications and internal systems.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: Local food handlers permit may be required.

Physical Demands: Requires standing, walking, using hands and fingers, reaching overhead up to 65 inches, talking, hearing, reading instructions, stooping, kneeling, squatting, climbing, ladder use, balancing, lifting up to 25 pounds (occasionally up to 50 pounds), pushing and pulling a wheeled demonstration cart, preparing foods and beverages using required appliances, and contact with cleaning supplies.

Supervisory Responsibilities: None.

Work Environment: Retail store environment; limited travel.

Physical Appearance: Must maintain a professional appearance and proper grooming, meeting retailer dress code requirements.

Language Skills: English is the primary language; bilingual skills may be required based on business necessity.
