Overview

Guest Advocate (Cashier or Front of Store Attendant/Cart Attendant) (T2358)  Starting Hourly Rate / Salario por Hora Inicial is $16.25 USD per hour. The Pay Range / Rango salarial is $16.25 USD - $24.40 USD per hour.

• Demonstrate a service culture that prioritizes the guest service experience by delivering the service standard.
• Create a welcoming experience by greeting guests as you complete daily tasks.
• Engage with guests to understand and solve their specific needs, assisting with current promos, store activities and events.
• Be knowledgeable about tools, products, and services available in the total store, and specific to your area, to solve issues and improve guest experience.
• Explain and promote Target Loyalty programs and assist with sign-up as needed.
• Scan and bag items efficiently, accurately, and in compliance with safety standards and company best practices.
• Minimize guest wait time while maintaining service quality and accuracy.
• Explain and demonstrate features within the Target App, including Wallet, and guide guests on Order Pick-Up, Drive Up, and online ordering.
• Assist with returns following policy and escalate as needed to Leaders.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and stock supplies during store hours.
• Demonstrate ethical conduct, safety, and compliance; report hazards and correct where possible.
• Support guest services such as order pick up (OPU), Drive-up (DU) Orders, DU Returns, and comply with applicable laws and policies.
• All other duties based on business needs.

• Willingness to educate guests about products and services and engage around them.
• Ability to use multiple devices and handheld scanners and operate technology as directed.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team; stay focused in a fast-paced environment and complete multiple tasks within time frames.

• Accurately handle checkout operations and support cash office tasks as needed.
• Scan, handle, and move merchandise safely, including lifting up to 10 pounds frequently and up to 44 pounds occasionally with assistance.
• Flexible work schedule (nights, weekends, holidays); reliable attendance is required.
• Remain mobile for scheduled shift duration; work in varying temperatures and conditions.
