Customer Service/Sales at The Home Depot
. The Home Depot is seeking candidates to provide fast, friendly service by actively engaging customers to assess needs and provide assistance. Associates learn about products using company tools and provide information to help sell projects. They greet, qualify, recommend and close every customer in their department and understand basics in adjacent departments.

• Provide fast, friendly customer service by assessing customer needs and offering appropriate solutions.
• Learn product information using company tools and use it to help customers complete purchases.
• Greet, qualify, recommend and close sales with customers in the assigned department and support adjacent departments as needed.
• Maintain in-stock conditions in assigned areas; keep areas clean, shop-able, and safe.
• Adhere to safety policies and standards; complete safety training and report hazards or unsafe conditions to the Manager on Duty.
• Collaborate with the Department Supervisor and colleagues across departments.
• Address responsibilities across various store departments which may include Building Materials, Décor, Electrical, Flooring, Garden, Hardware, Kitchen & Bath, Lumber, Millwork, Paint, Plumbing and Tool Rental.
• Role types may include Department Sales, Lead Generator, Pro Account Sales, Sales Specialist, Special Services, and Customer Order Specialist.
