• Perform fusion and mechanical splicing of fiber optic cables, including single-mode, multi-mode, and ribbon fiber.
• Build and maintain fiber splice closures to ensure reliable connections.
• Test and troubleshoot fiber using OTDRs, power meters, and other testing equipment to ensure optimal performance.
• Install and maintain Fiber to the Premise (FTTP) equipment such as ONTs, NIDs, and routers at customer locations.

• Solid knowledge of outside plant fiber systems and fiber optic principles.
• Ability to interpret network diagrams and splicing instructions accurately.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and training skills.

• On-the-job training and skill development in fiber optic technology.
