ResponsibilitiesWe're looking for a
Senior Software Engineer
who combines deep software fundamentals with fluency in building and working alongside AI agents. You'll use AI to design, build, modernize, and operate reliable, scalable full-stack applications on the Microsoft stack — C#/.NET on the backend and Type Script/React on the front end — creating high-quality software faster. As a senior engineer, you'll own complex projects end-to-end, raise the engineering bar across the team, and mentor others in both strong fundamentals and the effective use of AI in software development.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain applications across the Microsoft stack — C#/.NET on the backend and Type Script/React on the front end.
- Integrate applications with enterprise and external systems (e.g., Oracle, Mule Soft) through well-designed RESTful APIs.
- Direct AI coding agents to implement, test, and refactor features, while owning the design decisions and the quality of what ships.
- Build and maintain the team's AI-native tooling: custom instructions, prompt files, custom agents, and Agent Skills.
- Apply context engineering and multi-agent workflows to assemble the right context and guardrails for reliable, production-ready code.
- Review AI-generated and human-written code for correctness, security, performance, and architectural integrity.
- Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines using Git Hub Actions, and deploy to Microsoft Azure (App Service, Entra , Key Vault, Application Insights).
- Ensure the security, performance, and scalability of web applications across the stack.
- Participate in and lead code reviews, providing constructive feedback to peers.
- Mentor engineers in both software fundamentals and AI-native practices, and keep up with new tools and practices.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field — or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years of professional software development experience, including senior-level ownership of projects end-to-end.
- Strong proficiency in C# and .NET (ASP.NET Core), including Clean Architecture, Entity Framework Core, and dependency injection.
- Strong proficiency in front-end development with Type Script and React, including state management (Redux Toolkit) and modern build tooling (Vite).
- Hands-on experience working in an AI-native way: using custom instructions, prompt files, custom agents, and Agent Skills; orchestrating multi-agent workflows; and applying context engineering.
- Experience with cloud services, particularly Microsoft Azure (App Service, Entra , Key Vault, Application Insights).
- Knowledge of database management systems, particularly SQL Server.
- Understanding of RESTful API design and enterprise integration patterns.
- Familiarity with Dev Ops practices and tools, including Git Hub Actions and CI/CD pipelines.
- Proficiency in version control systems, particularly Git and Git Hub.
- Experience with automated testing frameworks (e.g., xUnit, Jest, Playwright).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and strong communication and collaboration.
Preferred Skills
- Experience extending AI tooling — building custom agents, Agent Skills, or Model Context Protocol (MCP) integrations that other engineers rely on.
- Spec-driven development — authoring clear, testable specifications…
