Accounting Specialist

Location: Hillsboro, OR (onsite, potential for hybrid)

Pay Range: $55,000 - $75,000 annually, depending on experience

Creative Financial Staffing (CFS) is partnering with a well-established and growing organization seeking an Accounting Specialist to join its accounting team. This is an excellent opportunity for an accounting professional who enjoys a mix of accounts payable, accounts receivable, reconciliations, general ledger support, and month-end accounting responsibilities. • Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions accurately and timely
• Perform bank reconciliations, account reconciliations, and maintain financial records
• Assist with month-end close activities, journal entries, and general ledger accounting
• Support financial reporting and accounting analysis as needed
• Monitor outstanding invoices, payments, and vendor accounts
• Assist with audits by preparing schedules and supporting documentation
• Identify process improvement opportunities and support ongoing accounting initiatives

• 2+ years of accounting experience, including AP, AR, reconciliations, or general ledger support
• Associate's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred; equivalent experience considered
• Strong proficiency in Excel and accounting software with excellent attention to detail
